This scrolling scenery business is not for you; rather than enjoy the oddity, you decide it's best to simply turn around and go back home. You're not totally sure you have a home to go back to, but anything seems like an improvement.
The return walk takes only a few minutes, despite the hours of marching that took you away. Your eyes go first to your car, still still quietly in the drive. You seem to have dropped your keys just beside the driverside door. You pick them up and head inside with your eyes closed.
The air inside feels cool. It smells vaguely bad, but not disgusting. Everything checks out, so you take a hesitant look around. As near as you can tell, this is where you live. You can see your furniture, your things, your walls and floors and comforts. Finally, you've come to something normal. Your work day is over by now, even if you wanted to go, so the only thing left to do is decide how to spend your evening.
