You push yourself towards the most outwardly intimidating person in the room. Although you've met, it was only briefly before getting into flight and down to work, so you don't have much to gauge the man's character. He sees your hesitation and the grizzled face contorts into something like a smile. "C'mon, now," he says, "we slept in the same room for three years; you don't get much closer than that." You start to loosen up a little and your features lax, but only in time for chaos to strike. In a sudden rush the ship begins to shake and the bright overhead lights die, only to be replaced a moment later with dim blue emergency lights. The captain is still smiling, but the light does little to make his countenance affable. He looks excited. "Seems we woke up in just the nick of time," he bellows. Before you even see him move there's a rifle in his hands and he's barking out orders. One person is tending the shields while another manages the controls and two more are guiding weapons. You, the rookie of the team, are stuck in place through all of this, but now is the time to move!
