You track the marked beast back to its lair fairly easily, but you're losing a lot of blood still, and you know you've got a lot of battlel left ahead of you. You charge in with your sword raised. You manage to catch the monster off-guard and chop cleanly through a large piece of tail, sending it into a blind rage. It swipes at you once, then twice, and a third time. You roll out of the way, but the pain in doing it is unbearable. You're coming to your feet and it is coming again. You dive for safety, but this time you're just too slow, too hindered by you wounds, and the massive cat's claws pierce your chest, holding you in place while his mighty jaw crunches your skull.
