Anxious to see what's on the other side of those plants, you walk over and push some aside to look through. As you do, you feel a sharp prick on your finger and another on your face as the plant whips back and catches you. You step back to look; it's not bad, just a tiny drop of blood, but now you know these plants have thorns. It hurts pretty badly for what it is, though. And your face is starting to feel a little swollen. Then you notice your vision blurring; whatever poison is in these plants acts quickly. When your vision finally fails, you collapse into a heap you will never rise out of.
