You dart out the back door, running down the street. Nobody sees you until you're well around the corner, and you almost think you're safe. You don't stop running, of course; you don't want to give them time to catch up. The a police car roars around the corner and you remember that they're a little more mobile than you. You swerve down an alley, but the car follows, and you've got nowhere to go. They don't arrest you, though; the officers simply run you down with their car.
