You emerge in a small space, seemingly just a large closet. Most of the space is taken up by a desk and a chair. There don't seem to be any exits, but there's a computer monitor on the desk and the screen is on. It's just a text document, from what you can tell. Is this even an operating system? There's literally nothing on the screen but that text document. It's titled, "About the Author."
The author of what? Who is the author? You sit down in the chair and stare at the screen, unsure of what else to do. It's in that moment that you realize, you're the author of this story. Somebody else provided the basic building blocks, but it's your job to put them together.
You're considering all of this when a prompt comes up on the computer. It reads, "BIO BLURB GENERATOR." Oh, well that's convenient. Maybe you won't have to assume the role of this mysterious author to finish this task after all. The prompt continues: "ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS TO GENERATE BLURB:" Well, you can answer questions, right? Does it even matter if the answers are right? You're the author now, so you can fill that role however you like. On the other hand, you feel like it's possible to die from wrong choices in a dream like this...but this is just a bio blurb, so it's probably fine. Here comes the first question, and it looks like it's multiple choice.
WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
