You head home to get cleaned up. You shower, shave, and all around do your part to look presentable. Once all of that is done, you go to your dresser to pick out some clean clothes. You open the drawer and freeze in terror; the only clothes inside are a ragged Iron Maiden tee and a pair of yellow gym shorts. You forgot to do laundry! You put them on, because they're all you have, but you can't leave the house like this; you definitely can't go on a date like this.
Rather than put on dirty clothes (they probably look fine, but you're a bit pedantic), you stay at home curled up under a blanket. You stand your date up, compounding the existential dread about your outfit and laundry with that of abandoning a woman who was actually interested in you. When you finally wake up, you're shaking, but relieved that it was just a dream.
