You head into the pyramid in the hopes of escaping the harsh desert sun. It's much cooler inside, but the air smells musty and dry. Torches ignite on the wall as you enter, but the lighting is still a little gloomy. You take hold of one of them and progress deeper into the pyramid. You expected a labyrinth, but it turns out there's just a straight hall leading to a cavernous room which seems to be home to a hoard of treasure and a single ornate sarcophogus.
As you walk in, you hear a grinding sound behind you. When you turn, you see that a door has slid shut. Then you hear a grinding sound from the opposite direction. When you turn forward again, you see that the sarcophagus has been opened and stands empty. That's the last thing your living eyes see, but you hear a terrible shrieking sound before pain shoots through your body and darkness engulfs you.
