Wait patiently for him to return and finish you off.

You sit patiently in your cell. You know wasting your energy screaming and pounding won't help you; that's exactly why he chose this place. Resigned, you simply sit and wait for death.

She sits down beside you. "I feel like I've seen you before," she says.

"Who are you?" you ask.

"Death," she answers. You don't have an answer for her. "If you're looking for some kind of truth in all this, you should come see my family."

"Where?" you ask.

"Just find a good place to stop, then look for Dream. You won't be able to see him, but he's there; just choose to go to him like you'd choose to go anywhere else."

"That doesn't make any sense," you tell her in response.

She smiles and says, "I'll see you next time," just before you wake up.

At least a cryptic message from Death is better than death.
