You ride your horse as close to the train as you can, pushing its limits to maintain the same speed. Once in place, you leap, barely grabbing onto the rail and saving yourself from an awful fall. You pull yourself up and step into the caboose, reaching for your gun as you enter. That murdering stranger is already here, as if by fate, and he hasn't seen you. You're about to blow him to hell when...what the hell happened to your gun? It's gone! It must have slipped from the holster when you were jumping or riding. Damn it all, didn't you have it snapped in there? What a rookie move.
"Oh," the strange man says as he notices you, "it looks like you're not dead."
"I'm gonna see you burn," you threaten.
"Right," he says, "well, let's try again." Then he shoots you right between the eyes.
