Stand your ground and fight.

Seeing your foe struggle to free himself, you aim your pistol and pull the trigger. It dry fires; you're out of ammunition. He's still struggling to get out, and you don't think you can get away once he does, so you stay low and rush at the man. It might have been your best shot, but you gave him a pretty clear shot. His bullet catches you in the head while you're ducked, leaving you to fall and skid a short distance on your face as you die.

Always rush the man with the gun.
