With your feline companion, you brave seemingly insurmountable opposition, somehow overcoming all of it. The two of you cover many strange lands in your adventures, encountering unique people as you go, but you stay on task. Eventually you confront the greatest evil in the land and, through the power of friendship and abbreviated plot progression, defeat it and seal the malignant force in a sacred gem. Although you're victorious, there are some unforseen consequences, as the United States is left without any form of government and thrown into Anarchy. People cling to the evil they've known for so long, still struggling to survive only at the expense of others, and soon this contagion has spread and the world you know has devolved to chaos.
