"What's her name?" you ask as your boss skips away.
Laughing, he says, "I don't even know!" then exits the building. You run after him, catching up outside.
"Do you have a picture of her?" you ask. This is the most intimate conversation you've ever had with your boss, and it's awkward, but you have to know.
He turns on his phone and, without speaking, show's you a picture of your mother. "She's ugly," he says, "but she's a freak."
"That's my mother!" you exclaim.
He laughs and says, "Well, I guess you should have picked her up," then climbs in his car and speeds away while you are still struck dumb by his chill.
