You snatch a pair of sunglasses off the nearby rack and walk outside, where you sit on the pavement and wave about a battered tin cup you just so happened to be carrying in your pocket. It only takes a few minutes to collect the change you need to make your call, and you're standing up to do exactly that when you're approached by a police officer.
