Go back and kill her.

Aside from searing pain, you can't feel anything on one side of your body. You've lost a lot of blood and you're still bleeding. You recognize that you need meidcal attention, but the rage that grips you is enough to put that aside. You whip the car around in the middle of the street and speed back to the scene of the crime.

She's waiting for you when you get back, but it doesn't matter; you're ready. You shoot her once in the knee before you get out. As you stumble closer to her, you put another in each leg to keep her there. She's limp, now, and as good as dead, but you blow holes through her shoulders, too. You unload the rest of the magazine in the woman's chest. As your gun dry fires, having run out of ammo, your finger starts to squeeze less and less, until the trigger isn't being pulled at all. Finally, you collapse in a head on top of your killer, who died just before you.

Guess that vengeance didn't help much, did it?
