It starts as a little sniffle. When you see his cold eyes shift at the sound, it starts to well up in you until your pouring tears and weeping uncontrollably. Perhaps you had expected pity. Perhaps you didn't have any expectations. You probably didn't expect him to start laughing, but that's what he does, chortling right alongside your wails of emotional agony. Soon the whole office has gathered around, and everybody is laughing at you, all coiled up in the middle of the floor, soaking in a pool of your own tears. You wake up crying uncontrollably, but at least you're alone.
